[1] Here we see a young adult hoist the British flag to the top of a flag pole. Along side the young man, there are several graphs that supposedly simulate the time it takes to completely hoist the flag. Some are realistic some are quite not.
[2] I believe that Graph C explains the situation most realistically. It takes into account any breaks that flagboy takes in between pulls to hoist the flag. No one can pull a flag at a constant rate like a machine.

[3] The one I believe is the most unrealistic is Graph F, because not only did the kid with the flag hoist in at a constant rate, he hoisted almost instantly, which no human can do as well.
- (a) The most general of the graphs, using an Identity Function, it states that as it will take the same amount of time throughout hoisting the flag to reach the top. Meaning that to move the flag 1 inch it may take 1 second whether it was in the beginning or the last of the inches.
- (b) A little more complex than the last function. This one using a function similar to a Square Root, it states that the kid will hoist the flag very fast in the beginning and very slow towards the end.
- (c) A very complicated function that I don't believe exists in calculators but reminds me of a Floor Function. This graph states that the person takes slight breaks in between very fast hoisting abilities.
- (d) An Exponential Function, which means that the hoister increasingly becomes faster and faster. Making him very slow in the beginning and very fast at the end.
- (e) A Tangent function that means the dude hoists the flag very slow in the beginning and end, but very fast in the middle.
- (f) An almost Vertical Line function that looks as if that one guy doing the flag stuff paused for a moment then, in less than a second, hoisted the flag all the way to the top. Very impressive for anyone to do.
