David is in fact a Reader, learning as far back as he can remember. He most likely learned through practice with his parents and the school system. This is the way most people read, really. Practice makes perfect they say.People read to communicate. Whether its for entertainment or factual, reading is for people to hear what others have to say without hearing, but through seeing. It aids the hearing impaired to listen to others, and its a way of hearing ideas written down long ago.To be a good reader, people need to be able to see, or rarely, feel. Yet, they also need to know how to piece together the letters they see into information. The speed at which they read is no matter, they just need to see and know what they are seeing. What makes reading so easy, is that it's simple. Look at letters, and piece together what they mean in the orders they're in. Although David thinks reading is so simple, many times, he may lose his place. Not just what line he's on, but on occasion he might accidentally skip words. That's what makes reading difficult for David. The last great book David read was a book called The Martian. Although, he didn't pick it out himself, reading the paragraph on the back intrigued him. Generally speaking, his most favored genre is Science Fiction, with a hint of survival. Yet, it can't be thousands of years into the future, maybe anywhere from 50 to 200 or so years ahead. Making books like The Martian or the movie Interstellar great examples. With novels, David doesn't read too much, finding books is tough for him. Thankfully for him, reading is a very important skill in life, so he reads anytime, from texts to labels. David thinks of reading dearly. He thinks there's no excuse not to be able to read. From reading warnings to the daily newspaper, reading is everywhere. Reading is required in everything.
Generally, no, David isn't much of a writer. Enjoying what other's write, while not spending a lot of time producing pieces worth others time. Like Reading, he learned it at school and at home. Same for most people, since reading and writing are hand in hand. People write to preserve ideas, or to communicate ideas to others. Through notes, news, or texts we all write. In order to write, people need to know how to structure a language and know the words of one. They also need some way of creating writing, either through a computer, or pen and paper. David isn't as creative as he'd like to be. Rather than creating stories and plots on his own, he finds it easier to write about topics assigned to him. David writes at home as often as necessary for school work, or for communicating in forms of text, then its very often. For creative stories, however, he doesn't write all that often. When it comes to his essays and school work, David is quite fond of his work, and they generally receive good marks as well, but when it comes down to his storytelling, he disproves of them and disregards them as low quality. |
